The Castle
Not much remains of this marcher castle now but you can
still find evidence of its existence at the top of the
town.
The Parish Church
The church of St John the Baptist is a focal point of
the town scene, situated at the bottom end of the main
street.
Town Tours
Guided walks hosted by enthusiastic volunteers will share with
you some of the history and anecdotes of this ancient borough.

House on Crutches Museum
A 16th century timber-framed house with a rich collection
of exhibits depicting local history and rural life in
South
West Shropshire. Open Easter to end of September, 2pm-5pm

Bishop's Castle Railway and Transport Museum This fascinating museum in High Street opened in 1999
and charts the rise and fall of the famous Bishop's
Castle railway, and preserves some of the remaining artefacts
from those days.
