The Six Bells Inn The Six Bells is a friendly, traditional pub with log fires, good company, good food, and most importantly, good beer, brewed on the premises, and winner of several awards.

The pub takes its names from the six bells at the church alongside the pub. It has been a feature of the lower end of town since 1670 when it was a coaching inn on one of the main roads from London to Mid Wales. It is a grade II listed building dating mainly from the 18th century. We have recently been renovating parts of the building and have uncovered fireplaces, stone and timberwork and installed new woodburning stoves.
