Craven Arms is the most convenient station, about 12 miles
away, with an hourly service between Manchester and Cardiff.
Change at Newport, Gwent, if travelling from London Paddington
or at Birmingham and Shrewsbury if travelling from Euston.
Taxis may be booked from Craven Arms or Bishop's Castle.
Cyclists may like to alight at Hopton Heath on the Shrewsbury
to Swansea Heart of Wales line. 3 trains daily.

Bus Services
Bishop's Castle is easily reachable from Shrewsbury, about
22 miles away. A roughly two hourly service runs through the
day, including Saturdays and Sundays.
A number of irregular services also link Bishop's Castle
to Newtown, Knighton, Ludlow and Craven Arms. Additional buses
run to and from Shrewsbury on some days only.
