If you are Driving
The town is just off the A488 main road south of Shrewsbury.
If you're travelling from the West Midlands or further afield,
it's easiest to take the M54 motorway to Telford and then
the A5 on to Shrewsbury. Head south on the A488 for about
20 miles.
The A483 from Chester to Welshpool is also a very good route
if you're coming from the North West or North Wales. Head
for Churchstoke and then Bishops Castle.
From Ludlow and the South, leave the A49 at Craven Arms and
take the A489 signposted for Bishop's Castle.
If you are using Public Transport
Bishop's Castle is situated in a rural area with a very low
population, so is served with only limited public
transport. Please check travel times carefully.
